• The contest is free to enter and open to all photographers 18 and older who live, work or go to school in Clark. 
• The contest runs from Saturday, June 1, 2024 through Friday, Feb 28, 2025. 
• Photos must be taken in Clark and not be altered or edited except for basic adjustments such as brightness or contrast. 
• Township employees, council members, board members and their families are not eligible to enter. 
• Business Sponsors, their employees and families are not eligible to enter 
• The contestant must be the actual photographer and the image must be submitted under the photographer’s name. 
• Contestants may enter one time with up to three photos with a signed entry form. 
• Contestants may submit up to THREE photographs in TOTAL. Submissions may be in the same or different category (Wildlife & Nature, People, Places). 
• Contest organizers reserve the right to re-categorize or exclude any entry. 
• Photos entered in the contest must be a high-resolution JPG, with a 5MB maximum size. 
• Photos should be titled with photographer’s name and category. (Ex. GSmithNature, JPulaskiPeople, or TDeAngeloPlaces) 
• The Township of Clark is not responsible for any lost entries. 
• Clark Township reserves the right to reject and remove from the contest any image submitted that depicts potentially offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, unsafe, or advertisement content suggesting Township backing or sponsorship; or any other content that the Township of Clark considers contrary to the focus of the contest. 
• Judges maintain the final decision and are not required to award a winner in any category. 
• No submissions will be considered after the entry deadline date of Feb 28, 2025. 
• Prizes will be awarded to the top photo in each category. 
• When submitting an entry form, contestants are certifying that they have read and understand the rules of the contest and are agreeing unconditionally to the following: 
• I hereby give permission to the Township of Clark, or anyone authorized by them to use and/or reproduce my submitted image for any purpose including multimedia publications (print, internet, marketing materials, social media, broadcast television, presentations and internal township use) without compensation to me. Additionally, I agree photo credit is not required in future usage of photos by Clark Township but may be given when possible. 
• I understand the images submitted may be displayed in Township and non-Township facilities. 
• I certify that I am the photographer of the photos submitted and they are unique and original works taken in the Township of Clark and infringe on no person, copyright or patent. 
• I understand that my submittal may be used in its entirety or in part and may be revised, modified or combined with other images for use by the Township and its designees. 
• I understand that I own the copyright to any images submitted to the contest and am granting exclusive rights and usage of the images to the Township of Clark. 
• I have received and retain in my records written permission from all person(s) in the photograph(s) I have submitted for use of their image as part of my entry to the Township of Clark’s Photo Contest. 
• I understand that winners will be recognized at a Clark Township Council Meeting and notified prior by phone or email. 
• I agree that failure to respond to notification of winning within seven days may result in forfeiture of prize and a new winner being selected. 
• I understand these official rules and the information contained within are for reference only and subject to change. The Township of Clark reserves the right to revise, amend or repeal these contest rules at any time. 
• I certify that I have read and understand the rules of the contest.
