1. New Registrations:
All new applicants must include a valid Rabies Certificate and Spayed/Neutered Certificate before a license can be issued.
The Rabies Certificate must be valid through November 1st of the licensing year.

2. Renewals
Renewals: must include a valid Rabies Certificate.

3. Service Dogs:
All applications for Service Dogs must include proof that the dog has been individually trained to the requirements of a person with a disability, as per N.J.S.A 10:5-5(dd).

4. Guide Dogs:
All applications for Guide dogs must include proof that the dog has been trained to assist a blind or deaf person, as per N.J.S.A 10:5-5(s).
