Event Permit Instructions

Special Event Permits are required for parades, fairs, festivals, benefits/fundraisers, exhibits, carnivals, public dancing/shows, block parties, and public amusement. This shall not include events held on a homeowner’s residential property.

Deadline for Submission:
30 days prior to the event, however, some events require additional permits that may take up to 6 weeks to obtain. Please plan and submit accordingly.

Permits and Requirements:
Additional permits and insurance certificates may be required for some events. Examples of permits may include, but are not limited to, health and fire permits for serving, providing &/preparing food/beverages/alcohol; gaming permits for hosting raffles, etc. Please allow additional time for permit processing.

Fees:
Fees may be required for additional permits (Police, Fire, Facility Rentals, Health, Clerk, etc.) You will be notified should you be required to submit any fees.

Noise Ordinance:
Excessive noise is prohibited. Please see Hamilton Township Code of Ordinances, Chapter 311, NOISE.

FEES:

  • Food License – $75 per event / $125 annual
    Paid directly to Health Dept.

  • Fire Permit – $54 per permit
    Paid directly to Fire Prevention

  • Athletic Field Rental – $150 per day
    Paid directly to Recreation

  • Athletic Field Rental with lights – $350 per day
    Paid directly to Recreation

  • Pavilion Rental (Kuser Park or Veterans Park)

    • $150 Hamilton Residents

    • $250 Non-Hamilton Residents
      Paid directly to Recreation

  • Raffles/Gaming permits – Please contact Clerk’s Office for additional details

  • Police, Security, Traffic – Please contact Police Services for more information

  • Port-a-pots & rental equipment – Provided at renter’s expense
