    I, the Applicant Understand and agree that the City of Rutland and the Rutland City Police Department may obtain criminal history record information from State and federal record resitories prior to acting on this application. I agree to comply with all provisions of the Revised Ordinance of the City of Rutland and the laws of the State of Vermont.

    A new license includes any existing business that has a substantial change in ownership, which will require a background invesitgation by the Police Department. If the information on your application for renewal is different from your 2000 license, you may be processed as a new application.

    Any license for which application for renewal is not received by April 30 will be considered a new license and the new license fee will be applied.
