  • The licensing period is from June 1st through May 31st of each year.
  • Cats 7 months of age or older must be licensed annually.
  • Limited to 6 pets (dogs/cats) per household.
  • Please contact the Health Department if a licensed cat is deceased, if you no longer own the pet, or if the pet no longer resides in Summit.
  • Licenses are not transferable between animals.
  • If a cat tag is lost, there will be a $10.00 replacement fee.
