The Zoning Department processes Zoning approvals for all commercial and residential improvements in {[CNAME]}. You must obtain a Zoning approval before you start construction on your project. When filing for an application please make sure that you provide complete and accurate information so staff can efficently review plans. Below is a partial list of improvement activities that require a Zoning approval. Please review the list below and provide the appropriate documents and quantities when you submit your application.

All applicants for zoning approvals are required to submit the following:
1) Complete zoning application form and checklist
2) One up to date sealed survey certified to the current property owners. Attach two copies of that survey (do not shrink or enlarge the copies) and show the proposed work drawn to scale along with indicating set backs and/or height on the copies.
3) Two sets of construction drawings and/or elevation drawings to scale showing the existing and proposed work for Additions, New Homes and Enclosed Porches you will need to submit a floor plan for all floors to scale showing dimensions & square footage along with including Habitable Floor Area and Habitable Floor Ratio.
4) Depending on the scope of work proposed you may be required to submit a construction application to the Building Department along with a lot surface drainage permit application for the Engineering Department.
