SEASON PASS & GENERAL ADMISSION

Residents of Cuyahoga Heights, Brooklyn Heights and Valley View, their guests, and limited Cuyahoga Heights’ tuition student pass holders will be permitted to use the pool. Season pass fees and guest prices will be determined yearly by the Mayor’s Office at the Cuyahoga Heights Village Hall.

All season passes issued to residents, district residents and Cuyahoga Heights’ tuition student pass holders are non-transferable.  A pass in the possession of one who is not the owner may be suspended or confiscated by the Pool Manager.  Season passes may be revoked any time by the Pool Manager if the owner fails to conduct himself/herself according to the rules and regulations of the pool.

A guest of a resident pass holder, or a guest of a district resident pass holder, must be accompanied by that pass holder.  Only residents and district residents who have a valid pass may bring in a guest.

Valuables may be checked in at the Cashier’s office.  There is no charge for this service. The management shall not be responsible for lost property or valuables.  Only employees are permitted in the Cashier’s Office.  Bathing suits shall not be worn to the swimming pool unless covered by street clothes.  No pass holder shall be permitted outside the pool enclosure or on the upper sundeck wearing only a bathing suit.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

The swimming pool reserves the right to close for special events.  A sign will be posted.

The pool will be available to rent to pass holders for a fee on Saturday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m.  You must be 25 years and older to rent the pool.  Contact Pool Manager to schedule your event.

There may be a playground Instructor available at the pool Monday through Friday.  Please note however, that the instructors/pool staff are not responsible to make sure your child stays in the playground/pool area.  children must be registered in advance with signed waivers.

Tables and chairs can be set up for birthday parties for a fee; please see Pool Manager for additional information.

DRESSING ROOM REGULATIONS

Swimmers must furnish their own bathing suits, towels and locks for the lockers.  Locks must be removed daily.  Upon entering the dressing room, place clothing in a locker.  Take a brief shower.  The management asks your cooperation by limiting showers to five minutes in length.

Swearing, yelling, running, or horseplay of any kind will not be tolerated in the pool area.  Smoking is prohibited in the pool area.

**Diaper changing should only be done in the family changing room on the changing table only.

SWIMMING POOL REGULATIONS

Children under FOUR (4) FEET IN HEIGHT are not allowed in the swimming pool unless they are accompanied by a parent who swims and must remain with the child within the swimming area.  Children less than four feet tall may be tested by the Pool Manager, who will determine the child’s ability and if that child can safely swim without a parent present at the pool.

All patrons who wish to use the deep end of the swimming pool must be tested to do so. The test consists of swimming front crawl two widths of the pool.  The swimmer must use rhythmic breathing.  (The swimmer must place their face in the water and then breathe on the side.)  The passing of the test is at the discretion of the guard on duty.  If there are any questions, see the Manager on duty.

Persons with open sores or rashes that are questionable in nature shall not be permitted to enter the swimming pool.

Running, pushing, dunking or horseplay is not permitted in the pool area.  Any improper conduct, profane language and loitering in the pool area or grounds is prohibited.

Diving is not permitted in the shallow water.  Patrons may dive into the pool at the five feet depth and into the deep end.  When diving into the pool, go STRAIGHT off the edge; do not enter the water on the SIDE.  Never jump over, upon, or near a swimmer in the water.

Ten-minute rest periods will be observed every hour during the recreational swim.  All swimmers must leave the water immediately at the bell or whistle.  Adults may swim laps during the rest period by obtaining permission with the guard on duty.

Patrons are asked not to visit with the guards while on duty.  This greatly handicaps the guards in the performance of their duties.

Pool Manager may close the pool at any time for safety reasons (thunder, lightning, sanitary conditions, public health issues, etc.)

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN THE POOL AREA

  1. Cigarettes, vape pens, cigars, pipes or chewing tobacco, alcoholic berverages and drugs.
