- Warranty Deed: Copy reflecting current property ownership.
- Legal Description: Current legal description of the property.
- Tax Receipt: Copy of a paid tax receipt or official statement confirming taxes are paid.
- Plot Plan and Survey: Detailed and stamped by a registered professional, including specific items like north arrow, land lot lines, adjoining streets, floodplain limits, and more.
- Consent Form: Petition form for consent of contiguous landowners or a certificate of mailing to them.
- Zoning Hearings: Attendance by the applicant or representative is mandatory.
- Septic Tank Approval: Approval from Cobb County Health Department if the property is on or will use a septic tank.
- Application Fee: $150.00, payable via credit card or Venmo.
- Signage: Posting signs provided by Community Development on the property 30 days before the hearing and ensuring they remain posted throughout.

Application for Open Space Community (OSC)

Application Process:
- This applies to Open Space Community (OSC) applications that do not require a change in the underlying zoning.
- Applications must be submitted to Community Development according to the OSC schedule.
- The applicant or a representative must attend the Concept Plan Review.
- After the application is deemed complete, it will undergo review by city and county staff.
- Public notice signs will be posted by Community Development staff.
- The application will be presented to the Mayor and Council as an "Other Business" agenda item.

Rezoning Application Instructions
