Fee Schedule
The fee for a garage/yard sale in the Borough of Lodi is $5.00 per permit

Now you can pay your Application Fee from the comfort of your home or office by using our online payment service.   Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Visa.  A per transaction service fee of 2.65% or $3.00 minimum will be charged by the payment processing company for this service.

The Borough of Lodi also accepts electronic check payments using our online payment service.   Payments will be charged to your checking or savings account at your bank.  You will need your 9-digit routing number, as well as your account number from your personal checks.   A per transaction service fee of $1.50 will be charged by the payment processing company for this service.

Payment may also be made in the form of a check or money order made out to "The Borough of Lodi".

Once your application is submitted it will be reviewed by the Borough Clerk's Office during regular business hours.

If your application is approved you will receive an email with further instructions to pay and obtain your permit.   If your application is denied, you will receive an email notifying you of the reason for denial.

Rules and Regulations
• Refunds will not be issued for sales that do not take place for any reason
• There is a strict limit of three (3) garage/yard sale per household per calendar year
• Garage/Yard sales are not to be held in excess of three (3) consecutive days
• The cut-off for same weekend sales is Friday at 12:00pm
• All Garage/Yard sales are limited to the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm on any given day
• Posting of signs on poles or public right of ways is strictly prohibited
• Follow all CDC Guidelines
Certification
Each permit issued must be prominently displayed on the premises and visible from the street upon which the sale is conducted throughout the entire period of the sale.

The person to whom such permit is issued and the owner or tenant of the premises on which such sale or activity is conducted shall be jointly and severally responsible for the maintenance of good order and decorum on the premises during all hours of such sale or activity. No such persons shall permit any loud or boisterous conduct on said premises nor permit vehicles to impede the passage of traffic on any roads or streets in the area of such premises. All such persons shall obey the reasonable orders of any member of the Police or Fire Department in order to maintain the public health, safety and welfare. All permitted premises shall be subject to the ordinances of the Borough and shall be subject to inspection at all times by the Building inspector, or any of their agents or any other duly authorized representative of Borough of Lodi.
