League Use Rules & Regulations
  • Recreational facility/utility use applicant must be at least (18) years of age or older. Applicants for a permit to consume spirituous liquor in City Park permit must be (21) years of age or older.
  • Requests for the use of City facilities shall be granted on a first come, first served basis, and must be requested at least (24) hours in advance. Requests may be denied or cancelled by the City of Globe at any time. Some requests may require further notice.
  • Facility/utility rentals do not include or guarantee the availability of picnic tables or ramadas. Picnic tables and ramadas are first come, first served.
  • All electrical cords and equipment must be safely secured away from sidewalks and pathways. Electrical cords, equipment etc., are not allowed on roadways, sports fields, or over fencing/barricades.
  • Bounce houses are allowed in the Community Center Park area only. Bounce houses are not allowed on sports fields.
  • The use of more than 1 piece of equipment on an electrical outlet may result in power failure and/or equipment damage. Facility/utility use fee refunds or equipment damage compensation will not be issued as a result.
  • Parties consuming alcohol on City property must acquire a Permit to Consume Spirituous Liquor in a City Park permit. Permits are valid only for date/time/location listed on the permit.
  • No glass containers allowed on City properties.
  • Pets must be leashed.
  • No firearms or weapons of any kind allowed on City property.
  • Motorized vehicles may not be driven on or parked upon any off-road or grass areas.
  • No littering. Place all trash in trash cans. Excess trash must be taken with you.
  • Charcoal fires allowed only in designated barbeque areas.
  • Special event permits may be required for revenue producing activities, activities involving public assembly, exhibits, concerts, or entertainment. Special event permits are issued and approved by the City of Globe..
  • Applicants/organizations will be held liable for any damage caused to City facilities, property, or equipment.
  • The City of Globe will not be held liable for any injuries or property damages sustained during any activity held on city property.
  • All City parks and sports facilities close at 10:00 p.m.

Single Use Rules & Regulations
  • Applicants must be at least (18) years of age or older.
  • Organizations shall be responsible for providing personnel to plan and supervise activities at City facilities.
  • All costs of personnel required by organizations to coordinate and carry out activities shall be the sole obligation of the organization..
  • No activity involving minors may be conducted without the adult supervision of an authorized organization representative.
  • Organizations shall designate a Primary Contact to coordinate with the City to make all Facility use and/or Field Light requests. City Facility use and/or Field Light requests from anyone other than the organization Primary Contact or their designee will not be accepted.
  • The organization's Primary Contact shall submit to the City a complete schedule of facility requests including specific facility names, dates, and times requested.
  • Requests must be made and approved at least (3) business days prior to use. Cancellations must be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance and during normal City business hours (Monday through Friday.) Requests made after hours, weekends or observed holidays may not be accepted.
  • Requests and schedules deemed by the City to be excessive may not be accepted.
  • Facility use requests will be addressed on a first come, first served basis. The City reserves the right to refuse any request for facility use.
  • Facility reservations do not grant exclusive usage of the facility to the requesting party or organization.
  • Organizations shall be responsible for the relative cleanliness of any City facility used, including excessive debris or trash in all buildings, restrooms, concession stands, parking areas and fields.
  • Organizations will be responsible for labor and materials associated with maintaining dirt infields, bases, goals, nets and striping or lining of fields for events and activities held at City facilities.
  • The City will be responsible for all normal facility maintenance (mowing of the grass, irrigation, etc.)
  • Organizations will be responsible for damage not caused by normal wear and tear to City Facilities that occur during their time of use.
  • Any signage, banners, logos, streamers, flags, etc. are to be placed on a temporary basis and must be removed at the end of the day of each facility use.
  • Organizations may not store equipment, property, or concession materials in or on City facilities outside of the approved facility time of use unless prior approval has been given by the City in writing. The City is not liable for damages or loss of equipment, property, concession materials left on or in City facilities.
  • Any improvements, changes, or additions to City facilities by organizations must be approved by the City in writing.
  • All city sports facilities close at 10:00 p.m.

I/we have received, read, and agree to the city of Globe FACILITY/UTILITY USE RULES AND REGULATIONS. By signing below, I/we agree to comply with all provisions of this agreement and will be responsible for the above listed activities. I/we also understand that the city of Globe reserves the right to deny this request and that the city of Globe's decision in this matter is final and not subject to any appeal.

The undersigned user of City Facilities/Utilities hereby agrees to:
  • Observe the rules and regulations for the use of City of Globe facilities/utilities as established by the City.
  • Pay the usual and customary fee for rentals and reservations as established by the city.
  • The user shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the municipality and itsofficials, employees and agents from and against any and all liabilities, judgments, settlements, losses, costs or charges (including attorney fees) incurred by the municipality and/or any of its officials, employees or agents as a result of any claim, demand, action or suit relating to any bodily injury (including death), loss of property, damage caused by, arising out of, related to, or associated with the use of city facilities/utilities pursuant to this agreement.
